Acme Mills (Pvt.) Ltd. is a leading textile manufacturing and export company based in Karachi, specializing in high-quality home textile products including towels, bedsheets, pillows, and blankets.
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electronic & Automation Engineer to join our technical team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing PLC systems, VFD drives, and automated machinery to ensure maximum operational efficiency across our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, control panels, and automation systems. • Configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot VFDs, drives, and power control circuits. • Inspect, test, and calibrate industrial instruments, sensors, and process control devices. • Ensure maximum machine uptime through preventive maintenance (PM) and rapid breakdown response. • Interpret electrical/electronic schematics and optimize control systems for efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications: • Education: BS / B.Tech in Electronic, Electrical, or Automation Engineering OR DAE / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation. • Experience: 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in electronics and automation (Textile or Process industry experience preferred). • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, sensors, transmitters, and control systems. • Tools Knowledge: Proficient in using Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Oscilloscope, and standard diagnostic tools. • Solid understanding of industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices.
