Factory Manager – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

We are looking for a Factory Manager with a strong pharmaceutical manufacturing background to oversee the day-to-day operations of our client's manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in production management, quality systems, workforce management, and regulatory compliance within a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring smooth and efficient production. • Plan and monitor production activities to achieve targets while maintaining required quality standards. • Supervise production, maintenance, warehouse, and other factory-related activities. • Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. • Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce wastage. • Coordinate with Quality Assurance/Quality Control to ensure products meet established specifications. • Ensure proper documentation of production activities, deviations, incidents, and corrective actions. • Manage manpower allocation, attendance, discipline, and overall workforce performance. • Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment remain operational and downtime is minimized. • Monitor the availability and proper utilization of raw materials, packaging materials, machinery, and other resources. • Investigate production-related issues and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures. • Maintain proper housekeeping, hygiene, and safety standards throughout the facility. • Prepare and review production and operational reports for management. • Work closely with senior management to implement operational improvements and achieve factory objectives.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Chemistry, or a relevant field. • Pharmaceutical industry experience is mandatory. • 1–6 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, production, or factory operations. • Strong understanding of GMP, SOPs, quality systems, and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices. • Previous experience supervising production teams and managing factory operations. • Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills. • Good command of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
