The role

You will design, build and ship AI systems that run in production for enterprise customers: LLM-powered copilots, agentic workflows, retrieval (RAG) pipelines, document intelligence over invoices and utility bills, and ML models for forecasting and anomaly detection. You own work end to end — from experiment to deployed, monitored service.

What you will do

• Build LLM applications: RAG pipelines, vector search, tool-calling agents, conversational assistants

• Evaluate and integrate models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Cohere, Google and open-source providers

• Train, evaluate and deploy ML models for prediction, classification, anomaly detection and forecasting

• Process unstructured data: PDFs, scanned documents, invoices, utility bills, images

• Build APIs and backend services that expose AI capabilities to our products

• Deploy and operate models in production: monitoring, evaluation, prompt and model versioning, cost and latency control

• Work with Climate Science and Product teams to turn domain requirements into working systems

Must have

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field

• 2+ years in AI, ML or Data Science with production code shipped

• Strong Python; experience building production APIs

• Hands-on LLM work: prompt engineering, RAG, agents, tool calling

• Experience with vector databases, embeddings and semantic search

• Solid ML fundamentals: supervised/unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model evaluation

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP, and Docker

• Git, testing, CI/CD

Strong advantage

• Shipped an AI copilot, document intelligence or enterprise AI product

• Kubernetes, LLMOps/MLOps tooling (experiment tracking, model registries, eval frameworks)

• Frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, PyTorch, XGBoost

• Background in climate tech, sustainability, fintech or enterprise SaaS
