Team Leader Corporate Banking
Job Description
Key Responsibilities • Plan, organize, manage and control the team activities (portfolio) and resources in order to ensure optimal results; • Plan, organize, lead and monitor business development plans and programs of the team (portfolio) in order to meet targeted results; • Corporate relationship management – interaction with client contacts at all levels. Support the Unit Head / RCH in deal origination, problem resolution and execution; • Marketing new clients, driving business growth with existing clients and generating cross sell both within CIBG and across other Departments. Grow the loan book as well as trade & ancillary business while ensuring alignment with ABL’s internal credit standards, to meet business targets; • Manage a team of RMs/ARMs/SROs/ROs w.r.t. client relationship management, business growth, internal credit processes and regulatory compliance; • Maximize recovery from NPLs and weak accounts; • Engage with internal stakeholders including RMG, TG, etc. to ensure timely credit approvals, seamless client services and deal / transaction execution; • Ensure internal guidelines and procedures are strictly followed in order to protect bank’s interest, avoid losses due to documentation problems and objections by internal, external and auditors; • Any other assignment assigned by higher management as and when desired.
Qualification & Skills Level Required • Preferably Masters but at least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification from reputed university; • Leadership, motivational, team building, interpersonal, management and communication skills; • Strong analytical, critical thinking and multi-tasking skills; • Ability to work under pressure, problem solving and decision-making skills; • Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, banking operations and other banking policies, procedures; • Well versed in MS office.
Experience
Preferably 4-to-6-year experience in relevant field.
