Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) reviews for customer onboarding, ensuring compliance with AML/CFT/CPF policies, sanctions requirements, and regulatory obligations. • Review and approve high-risk customer onboarding cases, conducting enhanced due diligence through a risk-based approach. • Perform sanctions and watchlist screening of customers, beneficial owners, and related parties, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of alerts. • Monitor and strengthen CFT controls, sanctions screening systems, and compliance processes while supporting system enhancements and UAT validations. • Supervise CFT operations, conduct quality assurance reviews, and ensure adherence to internal SLAs and regulatory standards. • Prepare management dashboards, MIS, KPI reports, and support audits, regulatory inspections, and compliance remediation initiatives. • Provide advisory support and training to stakeholders on sanctions compliance, targeted financial sanctions (TFS), customer screening, and emerging financial crime risks.
Qualification, Experience, & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the banking industry, preferably in Transaction Monitoring, AML/CFT Compliance, or Financial Crime Compliance • Sound knowledge of AML Act, SBP AML/CFT/CPF Regulations, FATF Recommendations, and applicable sanctions regimes. • Strong understanding of Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT), Targeted Financial Sanctions (TFS), Proliferation Financing (PF), customer screening, and sanctions compliance. • Ability to implement AML/CFT/CPF policies, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures effectively. • Strong analytical, investigation, problem-solving, oral and written communication, and report writing skills. • Proficiency in AML/CFT systems, sanctions screening applications, and Microsoft Office applications
