Planning & Coordination Engineer

Job Summary

Asian Constructors is seeking a highly motivated Planning & Coordination Engineer to develop, monitor, and coordinate project schedules while ensuring effective communication between project teams, clients, consultants, and management. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, resource allocation, progress monitoring, and timely project delivery.

The position is based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Employees will primarily report to our Head Office located in DHA Phase V, Karachi. Depending on project requirements, they may also be assigned to our ongoing project sites within Karachi.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans. • Monitor project progress and identify schedule deviations. • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. • Track project milestones and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays. • Coordinate procurement, manpower, equipment, and material planning. • Assist in project execution planning and resource allocation. • Conduct progress review meetings and maintain meeting minutes. • Prepare project look-ahead schedules and recovery plans where required. • Support project documentation, reporting, and coordination activities. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, and company procedures.

Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • Professional certification in Project Planning or Primavera P6 will be considered an advantage.

Experience • 5-8 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and coordination for civil, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

Required Skills • Strong understanding of project planning and scheduling methodologies. • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project documentation. • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and coordination abilities. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
