Job Summary

The Associate Engineer – Electrical will assist in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic systems for medical devices. The role involves working with analog and digital circuits, PCB layouts, embedded systems, and electrical testing equipment in a regulated, multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities • Assist in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar tools. • Support the design and development of analog and digital circuits and embedded systems. • Perform prototyping, soldering, and assembly of PCBs and electronic components. • Conduct validation and performance testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and other laboratory instruments. • Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues in new and existing designs. • Assist with component selection and Bill of Materials (BOM) preparation. • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test reports, and design records. • Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards and internal development procedures.

Required Skills and Competencies • Foundational knowledge of analog and digital circuit design. • Basic understanding of embedded systems. • Hands-on experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar software. • Familiarity with electrical testing and measurement instruments. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good technical documentation and reporting abilities. • Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team. • Willingness to learn and grow within a structured engineering environment.

Experience and Qualification • DAE in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical design, PCB development, testing, or product development.
