Network Senior Engineer

Job Purpose:

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and reliable connectivity across all business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network infrastructure.

• Monitoring network performance, availability, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

• Ensuring network security, system availability, and data protection.

• Coordinating with ISPs, vendors, and internal teams for network-related support.

• Performing routine network maintenance, upgrades, and system monitoring.

• Maintaining network documentation, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

• Providing technical support to end users and resolving network-related issues.

• Assisting in implementing network security policies and backup connectivity solutions.

Experience:

• 3–4 years of relevant experience as a

Network Engineer or

Network Administrator

.

• Hands-on experience with networking equipment such as

Cisco, Fortinet, MikroTik, HP Aruba

, or equivalent.

• Experience in network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of

TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, and Wireless Networking

.

• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field
