Web Developer (WordPress, Automation & AI)

Location: Islamabad or Bahawalpur, Pakistan Work Arrangement: Onsite Working Days: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a motivated and technically capable Web Developer to join our onsite team in Islamabad or Bahawalpur.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites and be interested in using automation, AI tools and emerging technologies to improve website development, business processes and digital workflows.

This role is suitable for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies and finding smarter ways to automate repetitive tasks.

Key Responsibilities • Develop, customise and maintain WordPress websites. • Build responsive, user-friendly and SEO-friendly websites. • Customise WordPress themes and plugins according to business requirements. • Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP for website development and customisation. • Integrate third-party APIs, plugins and online services. • Troubleshoot website, hosting, plugin and performance-related issues. • Maintain website security, backups, updates and performance. • Develop and implement website automation workflows. • Explore and implement AI tools to improve development and business processes. • Integrate AI-powered features and APIs into websites where appropriate. • Use automation platforms and tools to reduce repetitive manual tasks. • Work with CRM, forms, email marketing and other business-system integrations. • Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams on website and digital requirements. • Monitor website performance and resolve technical issues. • Stay updated with WordPress, web development, automation and AI technologies. • Assist with other software and technology projects when required.

Required Skills & Experience • Previous experience in WordPress website development. • Good knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins and customisation. • Working knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. • Understanding of responsive web design. • Experience with website hosting, domains, SSL and basic server configuration. • Knowledge of WordPress security, backups and performance optimisation. • Experience with APIs and third-party integrations. • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

AI & Automation Interest

A strong interest in Artificial Intelligence and automation is highly desirable.

The successful candidate should be interested in: • AI-powered development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar platforms. • AI APIs and integrations. • Automating repetitive business and development tasks. • Workflow automation tools. • AI-assisted content and website management. • Exploring emerging AI technologies and identifying practical business applications.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are curious, willing to learn and excited about applying AI and automation to real-world projects.

Desirable Skills • Experience with Elementor, Divi or other WordPress page builders. • Knowledge of WooCommerce. • Experience with REST APIs and webhooks. • Knowledge of Git/GitHub. • Familiarity with Zapier, Make or similar automation platforms. • Basic understanding of SEO and Google Analytics. • Experience integrating CRM systems with websites. • Knowledge of AI APIs and prompt engineering. • Experience working with cloud-based software and SaaS platforms.

Pay: From Rs80,000.00 per month
