Qualifications (what we are looking for) • 1 to 2 years of experience in cloud support, DevOps, system administration, or a related technical role. • Hands-on knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, OS level Patching and Backups. Knowledge of Azure and GCP is a plus. • Good understanding of Linux administration and basic troubleshooting of servers, services, storage, and permissions. • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, firewalls, VPNs, Routing, Switching and load balancers. • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog, splunk or similar platforms. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. • Basic knowledge of Docker, containers, virtual machines, and cloud infrastructure concepts. • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, or scripting tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Bash, or Python is preferred. • Understanding of incident handling, support tickets, escalation procedures, and service-level targets. • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and teamwork skills, with willingness to work in rotating shifts or on-call support when required. • AWS certification or relevant Cloud or DevOps certification will be preferred.
Education • Bachelor's degree in IT / Software Engineering / Computer Science.
Job Responsibilities (what you will do) • Provide Level 1 operational support for AWS cloud infrastructure, DevOps tools, and hosted applications. • Monitor infrastructure, applications, services, and deployment pipelines using monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. • Respond to alerts and support tickets, perform initial troubleshooting, document findings, and escalate complex issues to senior engineers. • Review system and application logs to identify service failures, performance issues, and recurring errors. • Perform routine operational tasks, including health checks, service restarts, storage monitoring, backup verification, and resource status reviews. • Assist with AWS access management, IAM permissions, and basic account administration according to approved procedures. • Support CI/CD pipelines and help investigate failed builds, deployments, and environment-related issues. • Assist with Docker-based applications, cloud provisioning, patching, configuration management, and Infrastructure as Code tasks. • Maintain support tickets, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, knowledge-base articles, dashboards, and operational reports. • Participate in incident reviews, identify opportunities for automation and reliability improvements, and complete training toward Level 2 support and SRE responsibilities.
