Video Quality Control (QC) Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Video Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to review edited videos before they are delivered to clients and ensure they meet our required quality and branding standards. You will work closely with video editors and team leads to identify mistakes, provide clear feedback, and make sure every video is polished and ready for delivery.

Key Responsibilities • Review and quality-check edited videos before client delivery. • Identify spelling, grammar, punctuation, and text-related mistakes in videos. • Check for repeated sentences, duplicate clips, repeated lines, missing content, or any unnecessary errors. • Ensure captions, subtitles, and on-screen text are accurate and properly written. • Check that the client's branding guidelines are followed correctly, including fonts, colors, logos, placement, and overall visual consistency. • Review the overall editing quality, including transitions, pacing, music, audio, stock footage, graphics, and visual flow. • Identify areas where creative elements or improvements can make the video more engaging and professional. • Provide clear and actionable feedback to editors for required corrections. • Ensure revisions and corrections are completed properly before final approval. • Maintain a high standard of quality and consistency across all client projects. • Work closely with editors and team leads to prevent repeated quality issues.

Requirements • Excellent written and spoken English. • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify small mistakes. • Good understanding of grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and punctuation. • A strong sense of creativity and an understanding of what makes a video engaging. • Good understanding of branding and the ability to check whether a video follows client brand guidelines. • Knowledge of video editing principles, including pacing, storytelling, transitions, music, graphics, and visual flow. • Previous experience in video editing, video quality control, or a related role is preferred. • Hands-on video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software would be a strong advantage. • Ability to provide clear, professional, and constructive feedback. • Ability to manage multiple videos and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

We are looking for someone who does not just watch a video but can critically review every aspect of it. You should be able to spot mistakes that others may miss and also suggest creative improvements when something can be made better.

Pay: Rs75,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
