Design Engineer or Project Engineer– Electrical

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Project Engineer – Electrical to join our team and support the delivery of engineering projects for local and international clients.

The successful candidate will be involved in the design, coordination, and execution of electrical engineering projects across commercial, industrial, healthcare, educational, residential, and institutional developments.

Responsibilities:

✔ Coordinate and deliver electrical project designs including load calculations, layouts, panel schedules, and schematics. ✔ Collaborate with design teams (mechanical, plumbing, BIM, architects, and structural engineers) to ensure integrated MEP solutions.

✔ Support the preparation of BOQs, review technical submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.

✔ Attend internal and external meetings to represent the electrical discipline.

✔ Ensure that all designs comply with applicable codes and standards including NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA, BS standards, local authority requirements, and NEPRA guidelines.

✔ Assist in site coordination, inspections, and issue resolution when required.

✔ Track project timelines, deliverables, and client feedback to ensure quality outcomes.

✔ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, engineering tools, and authority requirements.

✔ Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of internal engineering processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.E.) in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university. • 3–5 years of experience in supporting and delivering electrical engineering projects, preferably within an MEP consultancy or EPC environment. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Dialux, and SIMARIS/ETAP; working knowledge of Revit MEP will be an added advantage. • Sound understanding of power distribution, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, fire alarm, ELV, and communication systems. • Knowledge of Vertical Transportation Systems will be considered a plus. • Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards including NEC, IEC, BS, NFPA, and NEPRA guidelines. • Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
