We’re Hiring: Bar Tender / Barista

Location: Islamabad Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 06:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Grand City is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Bar Tender / Barista to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coffee preparation, beverage service, and delivering a high standard of customer experience in a professional environment.

This role is best suited for individuals who have hands-on experience in preparing beverages, maintaining café/bar standards, and ensuring excellent service quality for guests and staff.

Role Overview

As a Bar Tender / Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, maintaining bar cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming and professional service environment for all customers and visitors.

Key Responsibilities • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, juices, mocktails, and other beverages • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar/café counter and equipment • Ensure proper presentation and quality of all served drinks • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner • Manage inventory of beverage supplies and inform management of shortages • Follow standard recipes and preparation methods consistently • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards • Support in setting up service areas before opening and closing duties

Qualifications & Experience • Minimum Matric / Intermediate qualification preferred • 1–2 years of experience as Barista, Bar Tender, or in a café/hospitality role preferred • Basic knowledge of coffee machines and beverage preparation • Candidates with experience in cafés, restaurants, or corporate setups will be preferred

Skills & Competencies • Strong customer service and communication skills • Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage presentation • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Responsible, punctual, and well-groomed personality • Team player with a positive attitude • Attention to detail and cleanliness standards
