Job Description Position: Tennis Court Attendant

Location: Islamabad Department: Sports & Recreation Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Tennis Court Attendant is responsible for maintaining the tennis courts, ensuring they are clean, safe, and ready for play while providing excellent customer service to members and guests. The role includes assisting with court bookings, supporting tennis coaches during lessons and tournaments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the tennis facility.

Key Responsibilities • Prepare tennis courts before opening and ensure they are ready for daily use. • Inspect courts regularly and report any maintenance or safety issues. • Clean courts, surrounding walkways, spectator areas, and seating. • Set up and remove tennis nets, scoreboards, benches, and other equipment as required. • Assist members and guests with court reservations and scheduling. • Coordinate with tennis coaches regarding lesson schedules and court availability. • Issue and collect tennis equipment such as rackets, balls, baskets, and training aids. • Ensure adequate stock of tennis balls, towels, water, and other supplies. • Support the organization and execution of tennis tournaments, leagues, and special events. • Enforce club rules, dress code, and court etiquette. • Welcome members and guests professionally and provide exceptional customer service. • Maintain daily records of court usage, bookings, and equipment inventory. • Report accidents, damages, or member complaints to the supervisor immediately. • Ensure all equipment is safely stored after use. • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the tennis facility when assigned.

Qualifications • Intermediate or Bachelor's degree preferred. • 1–2 years of experience in a sports club, hotel, recreational facility, or tennis academy. • Basic knowledge of tennis rules and court operations is preferred. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods. • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when required. • Basic computer skills for handling reservations and maintaining records.
