Role Description The Site Engineer – Runway / Infrastructure Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Dalbandin. This position is responsible for supervising runway and related infrastructure construction activities, ensuring work is carried out according to design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with civil and structural engineering teams, monitoring progress against project schedules, conducting site inspections, and maintaining detailed records and reports. The Site Engineer will manage contractor performance, resolve technical issues on site, and communicate project status to project managers and stakeholders. The role also involves implementing quality control procedures, supporting adherence to environmental and regulatory standards, and promoting safe work practices across the project site. Qualifications • Strong on-site project supervision skills, with experience managing runway or infrastructure development activities. • Effective communication skills for coordinating with civil engineers, structural engineers, contractors, and stakeholders. • Proficiency in quality control processes, including inspection, testing, and documentation for construction works. • Solid foundation in civil engineering and structural engineering principles relevant to airside and infrastructure projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline; professional certification or registration is an advantage. • Experience with construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards; familiarity with relevant codes and regulations. • Ability to work in remote or field locations, adapt to site conditions, and maintain high safety and compliance standards. • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills, with competency in basic project management tools and MS Office.
