Software Engineer-Web Application Development

Job Summary

HOF Global is looking for a talented Software Engineer – Web Application Development to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable web applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications.

• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces.

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable back-end services and APIs.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services where required.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

• Maintain application security, reliability, and performance.

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in web application development.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with React.js or Next.js.

• Experience with Node.js and Express.js.

• Experience working with RESTful APIs.

• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).

• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).

• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of application security and performance optimization.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
