Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Scrapper role based in the Karachi East District.

The Data

Scrapper will be responsible for identifying relevant online data sources, extracting structured and unstructured data, and cleaning and organizing datasets for use in internal systems and client projects. Daily tasks include building and maintaining web scraping scripts and tools, monitoring data pipelines for accuracy and completeness, and documenting processes and data collection methods. The role also involves collaborating with development, analytics, and business teams to define data requirements and ensure datasets are reliable, up to date, and aligned with project goals. Qualifications

• Strong skills in web scraping and data extraction using tools or languages such as Python (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy), browser automation, or similar technologies.

• Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and validation to prepare data for analysis and integration into databases or dashboards.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, APIs, and basic web technologies to understand website structures and optimize scraping methods.

• Ability to work with spreadsheets, databases, or basic SQL for storing, querying, and managing scraped data.

• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot scraping scripts and resolve data quality issues.

• Basic understanding of data privacy, ethical data collection practices, and compliance with website terms of use.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a structured, on-site environment.

• Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
