Full Time Faculty - Department of Management

IBA Karachi invites applications from highly qualified individuals for full-time Faculty positions of Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor.

General Guidelines: • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for presentation and interview. • Candidates with Doctoral degree from a reputed university, in core or allied fields will be preferred. • Demonstrate ability to attract national / International research funding. • Should have a demonstrated commitment to scholarly research and publication. • Recruitment at IBA Karachi is a transparent and competitive selection process based on merit. Eligibility criteria for appointment of faculty as per HEC and IBA criteria. LECTURER: Qualification: • First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: Qualification: • PhD in relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institution Experience: • Nil Minimum Number of Publications: • Nil ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR: Qualification: • PhD in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution. Experience: • 10-years teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a postgraduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization Publications: • The applicant must have 10 research publications with at least 4 publications in last 5 years in HEC recognized Journals. • HEC rules and regulations as they exist at the time of application/appointment, will be a minimum requirement. If, as at the moment, 10 publications are required by HEC, the IBA will require three (3) papers which are in the current W classification of Journals as listed by the HEC, in addition to the 7 papers. PROFESSOR: Qualification: • PhD from an HEC recognized Institution in the relevant field. Experience: • 15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International organization. Publications: • The applicant must have 15 research publications with at least 5 publications in last 5 years in HEC recognized journals. • HEC rules and regulations as they exist at the time of application/appointment, will be a minimum requirement. If, as at the moment, 15 publications are required by HEC, the IBA will require five (5) papers which are in the current W classification of Journals as listed by the HEC, in addition to the 10 papers.
