Business Development Intern - Profile & Marketplace Optimization

We are seeking a Business Development Intern - Profile & Marketplace Optimization with strong theoretical knowledge of profile optimization, marketplace management, digital presence enhancement, and business positioning to join our team at our Gulberg 3 office in Lahore. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in understanding how company profiles, marketplaces, catalogs, portfolios, and digital business information can be optimized to support business goals and market positioning.

Job Responsibilities

1. Profile & Marketplace Optimization

• Support the optimization, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Maxobiz profiles across freelance marketplaces, business platforms, and professional networks such as Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.

• Review and revamp marketplace profiles, profiles information, service details, portfolios, catalogs, and other digital assets to ensure they remain aligned with Maxobiz’s business goals, target markets, service offerings, and desired market positioning.

• Identify gaps, outdated information, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement across existing profiles and marketplace presence.

• Keep profiles, services, catalogs, portfolios, and business information updated and fully optimized based on current business requirements and platform standards.

2. Service, Catalog & Portfolio Optimization

• Assist in developing and optimizing service descriptions, portfolio content, catalogs, business listings, profile information, and other marketplace content.

• Ensure all service and business information is accurate, professional, consistent, relevant, and aligned with the company’s intended positioning and commercial objectives.

• Support the continuous improvement of content presentation, service positioning, portfolio structure, and marketplace information to strengthen visibility and conversion potential.

3. Market Positioning & Digital Presence

• Support efforts to ensure Maxobiz’s presence across freelance and marketplace platforms consistently reflects its capabilities, services, target markets, and business objectives.

• Research competitor profiles, marketplace positioning, service offerings, content presentation, and other relevant market practices to identify improvement opportunities.

• Assist in identifying ways to improve the company’s digital presence and marketplace positioning based on market requirements and business goals.

4. Marketplace Research & Platform Updates

• Stay up to date with marketplace and platform trends, algorithm changes, ranking factors, policies, rules, restrictions, features, and other relevant updates.

• Research changes across relevant freelance and business platforms and identify actions required to keep Maxobiz profiles and marketplace assets compliant, relevant, and optimized.

• Continuously research profile optimization techniques, marketplace best practices, and digital presence strategies to support ongoing improvements.

5. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Monitor relevant profile and marketplace performance indicators and identify areas requiring improvement.

• Support optimization efforts based on profile visibility, engagement, response rates, lead generation performance, and other relevant metrics.

• Maintain accurate records of optimization activities, profile updates, research findings, and performance observations.

6. Coordination & Operational Support

• Work directly under the supervision and guidance of the current Marketplace Profiles & Catalog Optimization Specialist.

• Coordinate closely on daily profile management, marketplace optimization, catalog, portfolio, content, and operational activities.

• Implement assigned updates and optimization tasks accurately and maintain proper documentation of completed work.

• Support additional business development, marketplace, profile optimization, and digital presence activities assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree completed or currently pursuing in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.

• Exceptional written English communication skills with excellent grammar, vocabulary, clarity, and professional writing ability.

• Strong theoretical knowledge of profile optimization, marketplace management, digital presence enhancement, and business positioning.

• Strong understanding of freelance platforms and marketplaces such as Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, and similar business platforms.

• Good understanding of marketplace profile optimization, service positioning, profile visibility, engagement, and conversion optimization.

• Strong interest in understanding how catalogs, portfolios, service descriptions, business information, and digital profiles contribute to business positioning and lead generation.

• Basic understanding of competitor research, market analysis, and digital presence evaluation.

• Strong research skills with the ability to independently study platform trends, rules, restrictions, updates, and optimization practices.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and updating profiles, catalogs, portfolios, and business information.

• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work under the supervision of an experienced specialist.

• Willingness to learn, accept feedback, conduct independent research, and continuously improve practical skills.

• Candidates with relevant internships, courses, certifications, training, or practical learning in profile optimization, marketplace management, bidding, business development, digital marketing, or related areas will be preferred.

Working Conditions

• Employment Type: Full-time Internship

• Location: On-site, Gulberg 3, Lahore

• Working Days: Monday to Friday + Alternate Saturdays

• Working Hours: 04:00 PM to 01:00 AM

• Stipend: PKR 30,000 per month

Pay: Rs30,000.00 per month
