Information Security Analyst-Identity Access Management (IAM)
Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Information Security Analyst for Identity and Access Management (IAM) to support the day-to-day governance and administration of our internal software ecosystem and client account data. The ideal candidate will handle user access, client profiles, and cross-platform records to ensure consistency, data integrity, and audit-readiness across the tools our teams rely on daily.
You will work closely with IT, operations, and service teams to maintain precise access controls, execute user lifecycle workflows, perform cross-system data reconciliations, and contribute to seamless governance operations while ensuring high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities • Handle day-to-day access administration, including setting up, modifying, and revoking user access across enterprise applications (e.g., Google Drive, Canopy, ProConnect, Xero, Gusto), ensuring strict adherence to role-based access policies. • Manage client and user profile administration across multiple platforms, updating and maintaining records to keep cross-system data complete, accurate, and consistent over time. • Perform hands-on reconciliations of client profiles and access permissions across different systems, identifying discrepancies, missing information, or outdated records and executing corrections in a timely manner. • Support audit and compliance readiness by preparing clear documentation of access changes, profile updates, ticket logs, and reconciliation findings for internal and external reviews. • Assist with process optimization by following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for recurring administration tasks and proactively identifying opportunities to standardize or streamline workflows. • Work closely within practice management platforms, accounting platforms, and identity tools while maintaining strict adherence to internal controls and client data security guidelines. • Coordinate effectively with IT leadership, internal operations teams, and key stakeholders to ensure a transparent, timely, and secure administrative workflow.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a closely related field. • Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience in IT administration, IAM/access management, or data operations support. • Strong working proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets (advanced formulas, data cleanup, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data cross-referencing). • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail, especially when managing high volumes of administrative data across multiple systems. • Strong familiarity with user lifecycle management, permission structures, and data accuracy standards within cloud software ecosystems. • High level of ownership and initiative with the ability to follow through on tasks independently without close supervision. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively coordinate across operations, vendors, and management. • Ability to thrive, multi-task, and meet strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment. • Must be fully comfortable working permanent onsite night shifts to support US-based clientele.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) • Prior experience in an accounting, tax, shared services, or professional services environment. • Familiarity with practice management platforms, tax applications, or CRM software (e.g., Canopy, ProConnect, Xero, Gusto). • Exposure to workflow automation tools (e.g., Google Apps Script, Zapier, Power Automate, or basic scripting).
