Are you looking to kickstart or grow your career in the US healthcare industry? Meds IT Nexus is hiring a motivated Medical Billing Associate to join our operations team. In this role, you will support end-to-end medical billing workflows, entry-level claims processing, and charge entry for our US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities • Enter patient demographics, insurance details, and medical encounter data into billing software accurately. • Review patient accounts and claim files for missing documentation or errors before initial submission. • Assist with daily charge entry and electronic claim scrubbing across various medical specialties. • Check payment posting accuracy and verify standard insurance payments against patient accounts. • Follow up on initial claim rejections and assist senior team members with basic billing queries. • Maintain precise daily task documentation and log activities using client revenue cycle systems. • Communicate regularly with Team Leads to resolve entry issues and ensure timely processing.

Requirements • Experience: 6 months to 1+ year of experience in US Medical Billing (Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience or strong concepts are encouraged to apply). • Software Skills: Basic familiarity with EHR/Billing platforms (e.g., OfficeAlly, AdvancedMD, Kareo/Tebra, Practice Fusion). • Technical Proficiency: Good typing speed, basic proficiency in MS Excel, and comfort navigating web tools. • Domain Knowledge: Basic understanding of US healthcare billing concepts, ICD-10/CPT codes, and HIPAA rules. • Communication: Clear written and verbal English communication skills. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred.
