Manager Public Relations & Corporate Communications - Lahore
Job Description
Experience: 4-7 Years
Type: Full-time · On-Site
Location: Lahore
Reports to: CEO / Leadership Team
About the Role
Mohsyn is built around something that cannot be bought through advertising alone: trust.
When someone living thousands of miles away chooses Mohsyn to support their parents or family in Pakistan, they’re trusting us to show up, solve problems, act responsibly, and care when they physically cannot be there themselves.
That makes how Mohsyn communicates — and what people believe about us — incredibly important.
We’re looking for a Manager – Public Relations & Corporate Communications to shape, strengthen, and protect Mohsyn’s voice and reputation.
You’ll own how Mohsyn communicates with the outside world: from media relations, corporate storytelling, executive positioning, and thought leadership to press releases, partnerships, events, crisis communications, and reputation management.
But this role isn’t simply about getting Mohsyn mentioned in the media.
It’s about building a brand people understand, remember, respect, and trust.
You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to identify the stories worth telling, turn Mohsyn’s work and insights into compelling narratives, build meaningful relationships with journalists and other stakeholders, and ensure our communication consistently reflects who we are and what we stand for.
We’re looking for someone who knows that great PR isn't about making the most noise.
It's about saying something worth listening to.
What You’ll Do
Public Relations & Media Relations • Develop and own Mohsyn’s public relations and communications strategy, aligned with our business, growth, and brand objectives.
• Build and maintain meaningful relationships with journalists, editors, producers, publications, digital media platforms, and other relevant media stakeholders.
• Proactively identify stories, trends, milestones, insights, and conversations where Mohsyn has something meaningful to contribute.
• Develop compelling media pitches, press releases, media briefs, talking points, statements, and other communication materials.
• Secure relevant media opportunities including interviews, features, commentary, opinion pieces, podcasts, panels, and speaking opportunities.
• Build a structured media-engagement calendar rather than relying solely on reactive PR opportunities.
• Manage inbound media queries and coordinate appropriate responses with leadership and relevant internal stakeholders.
• Develop relationships with journalists covering areas relevant to Mohsyn, including healthcare, ageing, overseas Pakistanis, entrepreneurship, technology, consumer services, and social impact.
• Track media coverage, sentiment, share of voice, and PR outcomes, helping leadership understand the impact of our communication efforts.
Corporate Communications & Storytelling • Develop and maintain a clear and consistent corporate narrative for Mohsyn — who we are, why we exist, what problem we solve, and why it matters.
• Translate Mohsyn’s work, milestones, client impact, partnerships, and growth into stories that people actually want to read and remember.
• Own the development of key corporate communication materials including company profiles, leadership biographies, corporate presentations, announcements, talking points, fact sheets, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure Mohsyn’s messaging remains consistent across corporate communications, PR, partnerships, events, leadership communications, and other public-facing channels.
• Work closely with Growth, Client Experience, Operations, and other teams to uncover stories and insights that can strengthen Mohsyn’s external narrative.
• Help communicate major company developments including new market launches, partnerships, milestones, service expansions, leadership appointments, and other significant announcements.
• Develop communication guidelines that help teams understand how Mohsyn should sound, what we stand for, and how we communicate sensitive topics.
Thought Leadership & Executive Positioning • Build a strong thought-leadership strategy for Mohsyn and its leadership team.
• Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to identify topics and conversations where they can develop a credible and differentiated voice.
• Turn leadership perspectives, business insights, client learnings, and industry observations into articles, opinion pieces, interviews, speeches, talking points, and other thought-leadership content.
• Identify relevant conferences, panels, podcasts, roundtables, industry forums, and speaking opportunities for Mohsyn leadership.
• Prepare leaders for interviews and public appearances through media briefs, talking points, Q&As, and interview preparation.
• Help position Mohsyn as a credible voice around topics relevant to our mission — including elder care, ageing, diaspora families, caregiving from abroad, service innovation, and the changing needs of modern families.
• Ensure thought leadership contributes to Mohsyn’s broader reputation and commercial objectives rather than becoming content for content’s sake.
Reputation & Crisis Communications • Take ownership of Mohsyn’s communications preparedness for sensitive situations, service incidents, reputational risks, or crises.
• Develop crisis-communication protocols, escalation processes, holding statements, FAQs, and response frameworks before they’re needed.
• Work closely with leadership and Operations when sensitive situations arise to ensure communication is timely, accurate, empathetic, and responsible.
• Monitor conversations and emerging issues that could affect Mohsyn’s reputation and proactively flag potential risks.
• Advise leadership on the communication implications of sensitive business decisions and public-facing situations.
• Ensure client confidentiality and dignity remain central when communicating stories involving the families and individuals Mohsyn supports.
• Help protect the credibility Mohsyn builds over time by ensuring that what we communicate externally remains aligned with what we actually deliver.
Internal & Leadership Communications • Support leadership with important company-wide and stakeholder communications, ensuring messages are clear, thoughtful, and aligned with Mohsyn’s culture.
• Help translate business strategy, milestones, organisational changes, and leadership decisions into communication employees can easily understand.
• Support the CEO and leadership team in communicating important messages with the right balance of clarity, transparency, and empathy.
• Work with People and other functions where required on communications surrounding major organisational initiatives and announcements.
• Help create stronger alignment between what Mohsyn communicates externally and what employees experience internally.
Partnerships, Events & Brand Reputation • Support communications around strategic partnerships, collaborations, events, community initiatives, and market launches.
• Identify opportunities for Mohsyn to participate in relevant industry conversations, community initiatives, forums, and events.
• Work with Growth and other teams to amplify partnerships and initiatives through appropriate PR and communication channels.
• Build relationships with relevant industry bodies, diaspora organisations, professional communities, healthcare stakeholders, and other institutions that can strengthen Mohsyn’s credibility and reach.
• Ensure Mohsyn is represented professionally and consistently across external events and stakeholder engagements.
What We’re Looking For
Must Have • Relevant experience across public relations, corporate communications, media relations, strategic communications, brand communications, or a similar function.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, media organisations, and other external stakeholders.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to turn complex or ordinary information into clear, compelling stories.
• Strong verbal communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience developing press releases, media pitches, corporate messaging, executive communications, talking points, and other PR materials.
• Strong understanding of how the media works and what makes a story newsworthy, relevant, and credible.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and confidently advise them on communication and reputation matters.
• Strong judgement, particularly when dealing with sensitive, confidential, or reputationally important situations.
• Ability to shift tone depending on the audience — from a journalist or corporate partner to an employee, client, or member of leadership.
• Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple communication priorities simultaneously.
• Comfortable taking ownership with relatively little hand-holding and building processes where they don't already exist.
• A strong sense of curiosity. You naturally look around the organisation and ask, “Is there a story here?”
Nice to Have • Experience working in healthcare, consumer services, technology, startups, hospitality, social impact, or another trust-led service business.
• Existing relationships within the Pakistani media ecosystem.
• Experience working with international or diaspora-focused media.
• Previous experience managing CEO, founder, or senior executive communications and thought leadership.
• Experience handling crisis communications or reputation-sensitive situations.
• Experience securing speaking opportunities, interviews, podcasts, panels, and opinion placements for senior executives.
• Experience working with PR agencies and external communications partners.
• Familiarity with media-monitoring, social-listening, PR measurement, and communications analytics tools.
• An interest in using AI and emerging communications tools to improve research, monitoring, content development, and communications workflows.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Media Studies, Business, or another relevant discipline.
A relevant postgraduate qualification would be a plus, but for this role, your ability to communicate, build relationships, exercise judgement, and create narratives people care about will matter considerably more than the title of your degree.
Why Join Us
At Mohsyn, we hire the best — and then trust them to do what they do best. No micromanagement, no unnecessary layers. Just ownership, autonomy, and the freedom to make an impact.
Every voice matters here, and in this role, you'll help shape Mohsyn's voice itself.
You'll have the opportunity to define how people understand us, what they associate with our name, which conversations we become part of, and how our story evolves as the business grows.
And there is no shortage of meaningful stories to tell.
Behind Mohsyn are families navigating a reality that millions of people around the world understand: loving someone from a distance.
Children move abroad. Parents grow older. Life continues in two different countries. And somewhere between the phone calls, visits home, doctor's appointments, emergencies, and everyday worries is the question: Who's there when I can't be?
Mohsyn exists to help answer that question.
Your job will be to help the world understand why that matters.
That might mean helping a journalist understand the challenges faced by overseas families. It could mean turning something we've learned from caring for elderly clients into a conversation about ageing and companionship. It could mean helping our CEO articulate a perspective that gets people thinking differently. Or it might mean telling a story so well that someone thousands of miles away discovers Mohsyn and realises, “This is exactly what my family needs.”
And because trust sits at the heart of what we do, you'll also have an important responsibility: protecting it.
You'll help make sure Mohsyn communicates with the same warmth, empathy, credibility, and responsibility with which we aim to serve every family.
You won’t be sitting on the sidelines. You'll have real stories to uncover, real relationships to build, real conversations to shape, and real responsibility for how Mohsyn shows up in the world. We'll give you the room to bring ideas to life, challenge conventional PR thinking, and build a communications function capable of growing alongside the organisation.
We believe exceptional people do exceptional work when they feel trusted, supported, heard, and excited about where they work. That’s the kind of team we’re building at Mohsyn: collaborative, curious, low on ego, big on ownership, and high on impact.
