Higher Secondary Urdu Teacher

NJV School Management Board is seeking a qualified and passionate Higher Secondary Urdu Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Urdu lessons, developing students’ language and literary skills, and preparing them for academic examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Urdu lessons for Higher Secondary students.

• Teach Urdu language, grammar, literature, comprehension, and writing skills.

• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and examination materials.

• Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Prepare students for board examinations and ensure curriculum coverage.

• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and appreciation of Urdu literature.

• Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Maintain accurate academic and student performance records.

• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development sessions.

• Collaborate with colleagues and management to support students’ academic development.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Master’s degree in Urdu or a related field.

• B.Ed./M.Ed. will be considered an advantage.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at Higher Secondary level.

• Strong command of written and spoken Urdu.

• Knowledge of relevant board curriculum and examination requirements.

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
