Location: Lahore Position: Full-Time Private Homeschool Teacher Working Hours: 4 hours per day, Monday–Friday Salary: Rs. 30,000–50,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience

About the Position

We are looking for a warm, experienced, and creative Early Years / Montessori Teacher to provide one-on-one homeschooling for a 5-year-old child who has not previously attended school.

The role is ideal for an experienced preschool or Montessori teacher who would like to work in a more personalized environment with one child.

We are looking for someone who can combine Montessori-based, play-based learning with a structured early-years curriculum, helping the child gradually develop the academic, social, communication, and independent-learning skills needed for formal schooling.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and deliver a structured 4-hour daily learning program. • Prepare weekly lesson plans and age-appropriate learning activities. • Teach foundational English, phonics, reading, writing, mathematics, Urdu, science, and general knowledge. • Incorporate Montessori activities, practical life skills, sensory learning, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and creative play. • Build the child's confidence, communication skills, independence, and ability to follow routines. • Introduce classroom-style structure gradually while keeping learning enjoyable. • Monitor the child's academic and developmental progress. • Maintain a simple portfolio of completed work and activities. • Provide regular feedback to parents regarding progress, strengths, and areas requiring additional attention. • Recommend appropriate books, educational materials, and activities. • Create a positive, patient, respectful, and engaging learning environment. • Maintain professional boundaries and focus exclusively on the child's educational development during working hours.

Ideal Candidate • Montessori Diploma / Early Childhood Education qualification preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is an advantage. • 2–4+ years of experience teaching preschool, Montessori, Kindergarten, or Early Years children. • Strong spoken and written English. • Good understanding of phonics and early literacy. • Comfortable teaching basic mathematics to young children. • Creative and confident in using games, activities, stories, and hands-on learning. • Patient, nurturing, energetic, and able to build a strong relationship with a young child. • Experience with Cambridge Early Years or similar structured curricula is a plus. • Previous experience with homeschooling or one-on-one teaching is an advantage. • Professional references from previous schools/employers will be required.

The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership of the child's daily learning, lesson planning, activities, and progress.

Compensation & Benefits • Rs. 30,000–50,000/month, depending on experience and qualifications. • Only 4 teaching hours per day, Monday–Friday. • A comfortable private teaching environment. • Opportunity to independently design and deliver a personalized early-years program. • Salary can be discussed for an exceptional candidate with strong Montessori/Cambridge experience.
