Medical Officer - ICU
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide medical care and continuous monitoring of critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Assess patients, initiate appropriate treatment, and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Monitor vital signs, investigations, and clinical progress.
• Coordinate with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Follow ICU protocols, infection-control standards, and hospital policies.
• Participate in emergency management, resuscitation, and clinical handovers.
Requirements:
• MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid PMDC registration/license.
• Previous ICU, emergency, or critical-care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in rotational shifts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, including night duties, is required.
