Electrical Engineer – Tobacco Processing Plant (Akora Khattak)
- Educational Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSc/BE/BS)
• Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council
- Experience
• Minimum 02 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Preference for candidates with experience in:
• FMCG or tobacco processing plants
• Automated production lines
• Maintenance of high-speed machinery
- Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
• SCADA systems
• Electrical distribution systems (LT/HT)
• Preventive and predictive maintenance
• Experience with Motors, drives (VFDs), and control panels
• Instrumentation and calibration
• Troubleshooting production equipment
- Responsibilities
• Ensure smooth operation of electrical systems in the plant
• Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs
• Minimize downtime of production lines
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
• Coordinate with production and mechanical teams
- Industry-Specific Knowledge (Important)
• Understanding of tobacco processing machinery (drying, cutting, blending)
• Familiarity with strict regulatory and quality standards in tobacco manufacturing
• Awareness of environmental and safety compliance requirements
- Soft Skills
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 production environment
- Health & Safety Requirements
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards
• Experience with hazardous environments (dust, heat, combustible materials)
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
- Additional Requirements
• Willingness to work shifts
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting tools)
• Project management experience is a plus
