Role Description The Lead Electrical Engineer is a full-time role based in the Karachi Division. The individual in this role will lead electrical design and engineering for solar and power projects, ensuring compliance with international and local standards and best practices. Day-to-day tasks include developing electrical layouts and single-line diagrams, performing power system and load flow analyses, and conducting power distribution design for solar plants and associated infrastructure.

Engineer will collaborate with project managers, civil and mechanical engineers, and procurement teams to review technical specifications, evaluate vendor proposals, and conduct/lead installation, commissioning, and performance testing. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers, preparing technical documentation and reports, and contributing to feasibility studies and client presentations. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering with applied knowledge of electricity principles and safety standards.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design for solar (PV) and power projects, including layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams.
• Experience in Power Systems analysis, including load flow, fault level, protection coordination, and grid interconnection studies.
• Knowledge of Power Distribution systems for industrial and commercial facilities, including switchgear, transformers, and protection devices.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution; professional registration or eligibility with relevant engineering councils is an advantage.
• Familiarity with international standards (AS/NZS, IEC) and applicable local regulations for renewable and power projects.
• Competence with electrical engineering and simulation software (e.g., ETAP, PVSyst, AutoCAD or similar tools).
• Demonstrated experience leading project teams, coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in solar or broader renewable energy projects is highly beneficial; prior work in
