Job Description
CRoots International Schools & Colleges is seeking passionate, qualified, and experienced IGCSE-level teachers for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and English who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences. The ideal candidate should have 2–5 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably within the IGCSE/Cambridge curriculum, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with the IGCSE/Cambridge curriculum.
Develop lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, and classroom activities.
Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Use effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Communicate professionally and effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and school leadership.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic events, training sessions, and school activities.
Maintain accurate student records, assessment data, and other academic documentation.
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, confidence, and independent learning among students.
Stay updated with curriculum developments, modern teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
Key Requirnment:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably at IGCSE/O-Level level.
Strong understanding of the Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum and assessment standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Good classroom management and student engagement skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional academic team.
Proficiency in using technology and digital tools for teaching and learning.
