Role Description The Electrical Engineer Head of Plant is a full-time, on-site role based in Quetta, responsible for overseeing all electrical engineering activities within the steel manufacturing plant. This position leads the design, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient power distribution for production lines and auxiliary equipment.

The role includes managing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, troubleshooting electrical issues, and coordinating with mechanical, production, and quality teams to minimize downtime.

The Electrical Engineer

Head of Plant supervises technical staff, reviews and approves electrical designs and upgrades, and ensures compliance with relevant standards, safety regulations, and company policies. The role also involves optimizing energy usage, supporting capital projects, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for plant electrical infrastructure. Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in electrical engineering fundamentals, including Electrical Engineering and Electricity.

• Candidates should possess expertise in designing and reviewing plant systems, including Electrical Design and Power Systems.

• Candidates should possess practical experience in industrial power infrastructure, including Power Distribution and high-load electrical equipment.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.

• Several years of experience in heavy industry or manufacturing plants, preferably steel or similar process industries.

• Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams, managing projects, and coordinating with cross-functional departments.

• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, local regulations, and best practices for high-voltage and industrial environments.

• Ability to analyze technical issues, interpret engineering drawings, and implement practical solutions under time constraints.

• Effective communication, leadership, and decision-making skills, with the ability to mentor and develop technical staff.
