Medical Billing Specialist — US Healthcare (RCM)
Job Description
Location: Rawalpindi / Islamabad, Pakistan (On-site)
Experience: Minimum 5 years in US medical billing (MTBC/CareCloud a strong plus)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to manage the full revenue cycle for US-based healthcare providers. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with US medical billing workflows and is comfortable working US business hours. Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end revenue cycle management (RCM): charge entry, claim submission, payment posting, and denial management
Submit and track claims through clearinghouses and payer portals
Work aging reports and follow up on unpaid or denied claims with insurance companies
Verify patient eligibility and benefits
Post ERAs/EOBs and reconcile payments
Handle appeals and resubmissions for denied claims
Maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity/accuracy targets
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in US medical billing / RCM
Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS codes and modifiers
Familiarity with US insurance payers (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial plans)
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
Excellent written and spoken English
Willingness to work US time zone shifts (night shift)
Preferred
Experience with denial management and A/R follow-up
Certification (CPB, CPC, or equivalent)
Specialty billing experience (e.g., mental health, cardiology, DME)
