Job Description: Position Overview: We are looking for a Remote Automation Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, programming, and maintaining automation systems and solutions for our clients remotely. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while playing a key role in delivering high-impact industrial automation, IIoT, and digitalization projects that drive client success and contribute to Stemronic's growth.

Key Responsibilities: • Project Execution: Lead and execute automation projects remotely, including system design, implementation, testing, and commissioning of industrial control systems. • Programming & Development: Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, IIoT platforms, and related automation software/hardware. • Client Support: Collaborate remotely with clients via video calls, email, screen sharing, and remote access tools to understand requirements, provide technical consultations, and deliver customized automation solutions. • System Integration: Integrate automation solutions with existing client infrastructure, including industrial networks, sensors, actuators, and enterprise systems. • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose and resolve automation issues remotely, perform system optimizations, and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and performance. • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including functional specifications, wiring diagrams, program code, and project reports. • Remote Commissioning & Testing: Conduct virtual FAT/SAT (Factory/Site Acceptance Testing), remote commissioning, and ongoing support for deployed systems. • Innovation & Trends: Stay updated on the latest technologies in industrial automation, IIoT, AI-driven controls, and digitalization to recommend innovative solutions to clients. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, sales engineers, and other technical teams to ensure seamless project delivery and exceptional client experiences. • Self-Development: Continuously enhance technical expertise through training, certifications, and self-learning in relevant automation platforms and tools.

Qualifications: • Proven experience as an Automation Engineer, Control Systems Engineer, or similar role in industrial automation, preferably with remote project delivery experience. • Strong hands-on expertise in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider), HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP). • Experience with IIoT platforms, cloud integration, and digitalization solutions is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong communication skills for client interactions, technical explanations, and remote collaboration (via video, chat, and shared tools). • Familiarity with remote access tools, version control for code, and project management software. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred). • Relevant certifications (e.g., Siemens Certified Programmer, Rockwell Automation, ISA, etc.) are a plus.
