Project Engineer - Karachi

Job Purpose To lead and deliver engineering projects at site, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective execution aligned with Unilever standards and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver CAPEX and improvement projects (process, utilities, civil, infrastructure, solar) on time and within budget.

• Ensure strict adherence to Unilever Engineering, Quality, and EHS standards.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (QA, EHS, Procurement, Operations etc.)

• Manage contractors and vendors, including installation and works execution.

• Drive project planning, cost control, risk management, and reporting.

• Lead commissioning, validation, and handover to operations.

• Identify and implement continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.

• Maintain engineering documentation (drawings, SOPs, reports) and compliance records.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Civil).

• 3 years' experience in manufacturing / FMCG / project engineering roles.

• Understanding of utilities, process systems, and civil/infrastructure works.

• Good knowledge of EHS standards.

• Proven ability to manage projects, stakeholders, and contractors.
