Job Description
We’re Hiring – IT Support Specialist Shift Time: 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM Location: Karachi — Onsite Position: IT Support Specialist
We are looking for a skilled and responsible IT Support Specialist to manage our day-to-day technical operations, software, networking, servers, and hardware-related issues.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Software Installation & Troubleshooting- Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of - Adobe Illustrator- Adobe Photoshop- CorelDRAW- Tajima Pulse- Wilcom Embroidery Software – E2, V9 & E4.2 Installation and troubleshooting of other required business/technical software
- Software updates, system configuration, and resolving software-related issues Networking
- Good understanding of computer networking and LAN environments
- Setting up and configuring network connections
- Troubleshooting network connectivity and sharing issues- IP configuration, routers, switches, and basic network administration
- Resolving internet, LAN, and system connectivity problems
- Knowledge of internal/local server setup and configuration
- Maintaining and troubleshooting internal servers
- Managing shared folders, network access, and permissions
- Diagnosing and resolving server-related issues
- Basic knowledge of server backup and data management
Hardware Support
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals
- Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment- Hardware installation, replacement, and maintenance
- Identifying and resolving hardware-related faults
- Basic knowledge of assembling and upgrading computer systems
General IT Support
- Provide technical support to employees
- Diagnose and resolve day-to-day IT issues- Windows installation and configuration- Drivers, printers, scanners, and peripheral troubleshooting
- System maintenance and performance optimization
- Maintain proper records of IT equipment and technical issues
- Ensure smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in IT Support / IT Administration preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with software installation and configuration
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of embroidery/digitizing software will be considered a strong advantage
