Structural Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Structural Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the analysis, design, verification, and optimization of steel and reinforced concrete structures in accordance with international design standards. The candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a structural design team while ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities • Perform structural analysis and design of steel and reinforced concrete structures. • Prepare structural calculations, design reports, engineering documentation, and technical submissions. • Develop, analyze, and review structural models using STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, IDEA StatiCa, and RAM Connection. • Prepare and review structural drawings using AutoCAD. • Utilize SolidWorks for 3D modeling and engineering coordination where required. • Design and verify steel connections, base plates, anchor bolts, foundations, and structural members. • Ensure all designs comply with applicable international design standards, client specifications, and project requirements. • Coordinate with drafting, production, procurement, project management, QA/QC, and client teams. • Review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and structural details for compliance with design requirements. • Conduct design optimization to achieve safe, practical, and cost-effective solutions. • Resolve technical issues during design, fabrication, installation, and project execution. • Lead, mentor, and supervise the structural design team. • Review and approve engineering deliverables before submission. • Participate in client meetings and provide technical support throughout project execution.

Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering. • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in structural engineering and steel structure design. • Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles. • Experience in the design of telecom towers, lighting poles, transmission structures, flagpoles, industrial steel structures, and reinforced concrete foundations is preferred.

Technical Skills • Proficiency in: • STAAD.Pro • ETABS • SAP2000 • SAFE • IDEA StatiCa • RAM Connection • AutoCAD • SolidWorks • Strong understanding of structural design codes and standards, including: • AISC • ASCE • EN Standards (Eurocodes) • BS Standards • ASTM • AWS (preferred) • Ability to prepare detailed structural calculations, design reports, and engineering documentation. • Experience in structural drafting and reviewing fabrication drawings using AutoCAD. • Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA), structural connection design, and steel detailing. • Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
