Cybersecurity Specialist

Techozon Software House, Islamabad is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team.

We are seeking a security professional with strong hands-on expertise in Ethical Hacking, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, and Cybersecurity Incident Investigation*.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct authorized penetration testing of web applications, APIs, servers, and networks Identify vulnerabilities, security loopholes, and system misconfigurations Investigate cybersecurity incidents and attempted/confirmed attacks Analyze logs, network activity, authentication records, and other available security evidence Identify potential attack vectors, entry points, and indicators of compromise (IOCs) Assess affected systems and determine the potential scope and impact of security incidents Recommend immediate remediation and long-term security improvements Perform security retesting after vulnerabilities have been fixed Strengthen the overall security of company applications, servers, networks, and infrastructure Prepare clear security assessment and incident investigation reports

Required Skills

Ethical Hacking & Penetration Testing Web Application & API Security Network & Server Security Vulnerability Assessment Incident Response & Investigation Log & Security Event Analysis Linux & Windows Security OWASP Top 10 Basic Digital Forensics Strong understanding of networking, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, TCP/IP, authentication, and access controls Hands-on experience with security assessment and penetration-testing tools

Preferred Candidate

Strong practical cybersecurity experience Ability to independently investigate security incidents Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to differentiate confirmed evidence from assumptions during an investigation Capable of clearly documenting vulnerabilities, attack paths, risks, and recommended fixes Responsible and professional approach to handling confidential security information
