Role Description This full-time, on-site Teacher role is based at The City School Official in Lahore. The Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and standards, ensuring engaging and inclusive classroom learning.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and teaching materials, conducting classes, evaluating student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The Teacher will maintain classroom discipline, foster a positive learning environment, and support students’ academic and personal development. Additional duties include collaborating with colleagues, participating in training and staff meetings, communicating with parents/guardians as needed, and contributing to co-curricular activities and school events.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching and education skills, with experience delivering curriculum-based instruction in a school setting.

• Proficiency in lesson planning and training, including designing structured lessons and supporting student learning through varied teaching strategies.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and interact professionally with parents/guardians.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area; teaching certification or relevant professional qualification is preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively, use assessment to guide instruction, and support diverse learning needs.

• Comfort with basic educational technology and digital resources for teaching and assessment.

• Commitment to professional ethics, continuous learning, and alignment with The City School’s values and academic standards.
