Position Purpose
The Manager – Industrial Linkages is responsible for developing, managing, and strengthening strategic relationships with industries, corporate organizations, employers, professional bodies, government institutions, and other relevant stakeholders. The role focuses on creating sustainable partnerships that support employment opportunities, internships, industry exposure, skills development, professional training, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate organizations, industries, employers, and other strategic partners. • Identify and establish new industry linkages and partnership opportunities aligned with organizational objectives. • Conduct regular market and industry research to understand emerging trends, workforce requirements, skills gaps, and employment opportunities. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of industry partners, employers, contacts, and potential collaborators. • Facilitate employment, internship, apprenticeship, training, and career development opportunities through industry partnerships. • Coordinate meetings, corporate visits, networking sessions, career fairs, job fairs, industry talks, workshops, and other engagement activities. • Engage with industry representatives to understand their current and future talent requirements and communicate relevant organizational capabilities and programs. • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, MoUs, and collaborative initiatives with relevant organizations. • Work closely with internal departments to align programs, training initiatives, and workforce development activities with industry needs. • Support placement and recruitment activities by connecting qualified candidates with suitable employers and opportunities. • Build long-term relationships with employers to facilitate repeat hiring, internships, collaborations, and other engagement opportunities. • Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, networking events, and stakeholder meetings. • Prepare proposals, presentations, partnership briefs, reports, and periodic updates for management. • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of industrial partnerships and maintain records of key performance indicators. • Identify opportunities for joint projects, corporate social responsibility initiatives, professional development programs, and capacity-building activities. • Ensure timely follow-up with industry partners and maintain professional communication throughout the partnership lifecycle. • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve partnership-related issues and ensure smooth implementation of agreed activities. • Provide regular feedback to management regarding industry trends, employer expectations, partnership opportunities, and areas for improvement. • Ensure that all partnership activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Number and quality of active industry partnerships. • Number of new corporate and industry linkages established. • Employment and placement opportunities generated. • Number of internships, apprenticeships, and training opportunities facilitated. • Employer satisfaction and partner retention rate. • Number of successful MoUs and strategic collaborations. • Industry engagement activities conducted. • Revenue or resource opportunities generated through partnerships, where applicable. • Timeliness and quality of stakeholder engagement and reporting. • Contribution of industry feedback toward improving organizational programs and initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field. • Relevant professional experience in industrial relations, business development, corporate relations, HR, partnerships, career services, or stakeholder management. • Strong experience in relationship building, networking, negotiation, and partnership development. • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and coordination skills. • Strong understanding of corporate and industry environments. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant digital communication and reporting tools.

Pay: Rs1.00 - Rs150.00 per month
