Medical Billing Specialist Workers Compensation (WC) & Personal Injury (PI)
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our US healthcare revenue cycle team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Workers' Compensation (WC) and Personal Injury (PI) medical billing and be proficient in eClinicalWorks (eCW).Key Responsibilities • Process and manage US Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury medical claims. • Submit claims and follow up on unpaid, denied, or rejected claims. • Communicate with insurance adjusters, attorneys, case managers, case paralegals, and medical providers,. • Verify patient and claim information for accuracy. • Post payments and reconcile accounts. • Maintain accurate documentation in eClinicalWorks (eCW). • Ensure timely claim resolution and maximize collections. • Meet daily productivity and quality standards.
Requirements • Minimum 2 years of experience in US Medical Billing. • Hands-on experience with Workers' Compensation (WC) and Personal Injury (PI) billing. • Must have working knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW). • Strong understanding of the US healthcare billing process. • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal). • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience working with US medical practices. • Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding. • Experience handling insurance follow-up, denials, appeals, and accounts receivable.
