Trainee Planning Engineer (Civil)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering graduate to join our team as a Trainee Planning Engineer. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in cost estimation and quantity take-offs within the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.

Support senior estimators in developing accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

Use Bluebeam Revu for digital plan review, markup, and measurement.

Utilize PlanSwift for efficient and accurate material quantity estimation.

Participate in bid preparation, vendor quotation analysis, and document control.

Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure estimate alignment with project scope.

Maintain updated databases of costs and estimation templates. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from reputed institute / university

Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

Basic proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and PlanSwift is essential.

Good analytical and numerical skills.

Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
