Trainee Planning Engineer (Civil)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering graduate to join our team as a Trainee Planning Engineer. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in cost estimation and quantity take-offs within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.

• Support senior estimators in developing accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

• Use Bluebeam Revu for digital plan review, markup, and measurement.

• Utilize PlanSwift for efficient and accurate material quantity estimation.

• Participate in bid preparation, vendor quotation analysis, and document control.

• Collaborate with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure estimate alignment with project scope.

• Maintain updated databases of costs and estimation templates.

Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from reputed institute / university

• Strong understanding of construction drawings, BOQs, and specifications.

• Basic proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and PlanSwift is essential.

• Good analytical and numerical skills.

• Proficient in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.

• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
